The Legacy Land Trust art show and silent auction will be held October 30-November 5 at the Poudre River Arts Center, 406 North College Avenue, Fort Collins. The opening reception is 5 PM Saturday Oct. 30 with desserts and coffe, but the best party is the closing reception when the silent auction closes 5-9 PM Friday November 5 with wine, appetizers, and jazz music. I have three art works that will be auctioned. These usually are a great deal. If you want to have open space enjoy, support this great cause to buy and conserve nature nearby. You will enjoy your art purchases and you will keep Weld and Larimer county beautiful.

October 8 was a great day to paint outdoors or "Plein Air" as the French say. A small group of painters met at the Greeley Downtown depot that houses the Chamber of Commerce and CVB. I faced east to paint the Buckboard elevator. I even met several of the workers and got to practice my spanish. The group will try to paint plein air at least once a week somewhere locally.
